The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has officially released the recruitment notification for Yantrik (Technical) and Navik (General Duty and Domestic Branch) posts under the CGEPT 01/2026 and 02/2026 batches. A total of 630 vacancies have been announced. The online application process begins on 11th June 2025 and will continue till 25th June 2025.

  1. Navik (General Duty – GD)

    • Vacancies: 520 (260 for each batch)

    • Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects

  2. Yantrik (Technical)

    • Vacancies: 60

    • Eligibility: Class 10 pass with Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

  3. Navik (Domestic Branch – DB)

    • Vacancies: 50

    • Eligibility: Class 10 pass only

Indian Coast Guard Selection Process:

The selection will be conducted in three stages:

  1. Stage I – Computer-Based Test (CBT): Objective-type written exam based on eligibility

  2. Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Document Verification, and Initial Medical Examination

  3. Stage III – Final Medical Examination and Merit List

Final selection will be based on performance in all three stages.
